NAAAP Fashion Show: Zoolander pose on the catwalk

NAAAP Fashion Show :: Kristina Owyoung, Rebecca Hu, Rayfil Wong, Stephanie Ng

I was invited by Monique Zhang to model at the NAAAP Fashion show held at the elegant Palace Hotel last week.

Truly, I had a blast and met some great people such as the spirited Kristina Owyoung, perky Rebecca Hu, and charming Stephanie Ng.

NAAAP (National Association of Asian American Professionals) is a great association for Asian Americans. The conference includes leadership classes such as how to be more assertive.

Tell me about it.

I see numerous Asian guys at clubs checking out girls and not making a move. Life is short. The attempt is more important than the result.

Be more Assertive guys.

On a side note.
After all, I find it very hard to be Asian American.

I was born in Hong Kong so I was raised with Chinese values blended with American values.

On the modeling frontier, I really enjoyed being on the catwalk. I am very relaxed. I know for a fact that my past experience being on American Inventor has prepared me for the catwalk.

After being on national tv, the catwalk + making public speeches is pretty easy. So I learned in life what fear is all about.

We simply fear something because we (drum roll) … NEVER DONE IT BEFORE.

since I have been on the big stage such as being on reality TV, a little catwalk experience is pretty easy.

Ending… I encourage Asian Americans to consider joining NAAAP for networking and for professional growth.

Yes! Taco Bell is still open.
