They are amazing because rarely does a service company satisfy the 3 main components.

Cost. They are cheap. My haircut cost a mere $50 HKD (~7 USD)
Speed. They advertise that the haircut only takes 10 minutes
Quality. Surprisingly, my hair cut turned out pretty good looking.

Experience. You first but a ticket from the vending machine, hand the barber the ticket, and away you go.
