“It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”
To a great extent, this is true. Employers are looking for employees but often times, it is hard to find them especially when resumes don’t clearly paint a clear picture.
3 Things Resume Do Not Do
1. display soft skills such as {People skills, negotiation}
2. demonstrate your tone of voice. Tone of voice especially in phone sales is key.
3. resumes do not should your energy level which is key especially working in teams
So what?
If you’re looking for a job, let your network of friends know. I met a guy at a cafe recently and he was graduating from Law school and just had his job offer rescinded. Ouch!
I gave him the contact to my cousin who has been a patent attorney.
So my recruiter recently sent me a post for a list of jobs, contact Bridgette if interested
